1. Who operates Outpost
TARSYN CONSULTANCY, United Arab Emirates, operates Outpost. Contact info@tarsyn.com for privacy questions or requests. Outpost is in development; the information processed depends on the features you use and the accounts you authorize.
2. Information we process
- Operator and organization information, such as email address, organization membership, and access role.
- Connected-platform account identifiers, display names, granted permissions, account health, and authorization tokens needed for permitted API access.
- Media files or source links, captions, titles, schedules, chosen publishing settings, and publication identifiers or links.
- Publishing status, error records, audit events, and technical request logs used to operate and protect the service.
- Information you provide when contacting us.
3. Purposes and permissions
We use this information to authenticate authorized operators, carry out publishing instructions, maintain account connections, report results, troubleshoot failures, respond to requests, and protect the service. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing relies on providing the requested service, permission or consent where required, legitimate operational and security interests where permitted, or legal obligations.
4. Connected services and recipients
When you instruct Outpost to publish, the selected platform receives the content, metadata, and authorization necessary to process the request. TikTok, Google/YouTube, and Meta/Facebook/Instagram handle information under their own policies. Our infrastructure includes hosting, database, media-storage, and operational service providers; Outpost uses Cloudflare R2 for media storage. Configured operational alert services may receive publishing error or account-health information. Authorized operators in your organization may see your organization's content and publishing results. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to address abuse or protect rights.
5. Media links and public posts
Outpost can store media at a URL that a publishing platform can fetch. Anyone who obtains such a media URL may be able to access the file until it is removed. Do not submit confidential material for this transfer method. Content published publicly can be viewed, copied, or processed by others according to your platform settings.
6. Storage and retention
Account information and authorization records are kept while needed for an active connection and service operation. In the creator publishing workspace, uploaded files are private temporary copies: they are removed after the transfer attempt or expire within about one hour. Disconnecting and deleting your Outpost data removes your connection, sessions, and creator posting records. The separate scheduling workflow schedules removal of eligible media after a 30-day retention period once associated publishing work is final; retries or other posts referencing the same file can extend storage. Operational records and backups can remain where needed for recovery, security, legal obligations, or resolving issues. Contact us to request deletion or information about retention for your account.
7. Security and cookies
Outpost encrypts stored social authorization credentials and restricts access to authorized operators. The application uses an essential session cookie for sign-in. Its current implementation does not include advertising or analytics trackers. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Avoid sending passwords, access tokens, or other secrets in support messages.
8. Your choices and requests
You can revoke Outpost's authorization in a connected platform's settings. For TikTok, use its security settings for connected apps. Contact info@tarsyn.com to request access, correction, deletion, or other rights available under applicable law. We may verify your authority before acting. Please identify your organization and connected account without including passwords or tokens. Deleting data from Outpost does not remove content already published to a social platform; manage that content with the platform directly.
9. International processing
Information may be processed outside your country by hosting providers and connected platforms. Applicable safeguards and legal requirements apply to such processing. Contact us for details relevant to your use.
10. Children and updates
Outpost is intended for authorized business operators, not children. We update this policy as the service changes and identify the current version by the date above. Material changes will be communicated as required.
